If you’re like me, I like to have a visual workflow or diagram when it comes to any type of design.
Especially for something like a sales funnel where there can be so many steps.
Forward steps, side steps and even back steps.
It helps to diagram out the entire process from start to finish to be sure you’ve got everything covered.
Sure you can go old school and use pen and paper – which I like to do.
There is something about putting pen to paper that helps me think thru the process.
You could use a program such as PowerPoint or Word, but they’re not really designed for creating workflows outside of an organization chart.
And what if you need to share the workflow or diagram with your team?
Hard to do if using pen & paper – easier to do if you use a tool specifically designed to help you map out your funnel.
And I know of a simple to use online tool that allows you to create funnels in minutes. It’s called Funnelytics. You can bring your funnel ideas to life with just the click of a button.

Each of these categories includes icons that represent a specific step.

The Traffic category includes social media icons, email, chats, affiliates and more.
The Actions category includes actions that visitors to your funnel can take such as add to cart, watch a webinar and purchase.
The Offline category includes offline activities such as meeting, business card and phone.
These categories make up one or more of the steps in your funnel.
You might want to sketch out your funnel on a piece of paper or dive right in and create it in Funnelytics.
To create a funnel, simply drag and drop the icon from the appropriate category to the grid area.
As you drag them onto the grid an arrow automatically connects the icons together to create the overall flow of your funnel.
You can also customize each icon adding things like goals, parameters and notes.
Each category has it’s own settings based on what it does.
When you’ve completed your funnel design, you can save it as a png file and then share it with your team.
You can also save a funnel as a template to use as a blueprint for similar templates. The best thing about Funnelytics besides its simplicity is it’s free to use.
